Teaching Schedule:
Ashtanga Saturday 3:30 – 5:30
Ashtanga Sunday 2:15 – 4:15

This is both a traditional and somewhat non traditional approach to transforming the Rigiour of Ashtanga Vinyasa into Restoration.Traditionally we will explore the use if developing the aspect of Tristana,the balance  of Breath Mechanics,Bandhas ,the physical energetic ‘Conduits” of Pranic Release collection and Transference,and Drishti the window of ‘Pratyahara ” Restoration of the Parasympathetic Nervous system.The Sequencing is the traditional Primary series   non traditionally Alignment modifications based on the Iyenger systems usage of “Yoga tools” ,Blocks straps etc..will  and can be used,always optional, to “Feel the essence of how the Sequence is interlocked.from Sun-Salutations standing Poses Seated and supine work ,Backbending and inversions as the closing sequence to Finishing Pranayama,Savasana  and Meditation – Thus making the practice more accessable for those who may be intimidated by the classical practice.This is a look into what will be explored in 5 class workshop to follow hosted By Sandra, into Patanjalis Ashtanga Yoga  and the psycho -physiology of how we are wired for this Traditional form of “Yoga as Self Transformation.

For more than two  decades  he has pursued a simultaneous study of the Classical systems of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (Up to the 4th series), The advanced Therapeutics of Iyenger Yoga, and the Essence Of Traditional Zen Buddhism.In addition he draws from his studies of Human Anataomy .Neuro-Biology, Bio -Mechanics,Psycho-Physiology,and Neuro-Linguistics. He is also a professionally trained chef and teaches how to feed the body through Raw Macro-Biotics and Ayurvedic Nutrition.
