What is “ISAGAYA FLOW”?
Isagaya is the combination of two words from the Philippine Tagalog language, “ISA” meaning “One” and “GAYA” meaning “Reflecting”. Getting in touch with your own body and searching within is key to Isagaya Flow. Isagaya Flow Technique was created by Jenn Tamera. She has incorporated her joy of movement and knowledge of the body to bring this unique style to you.
Jenn will guide you with the use of “Isagaya Flow Balls” which will be provided. She will also help you experience the therapeutic effects of Yoga and the joy of movement. Through breathing practices and physical postures, you will learn how to integrate your body, mind and spirit. Ultimately with Isagaya Flow you will be able to explore and get more in tune with your body and energy. In this exploration you will discover the physical and energetic tension you have been retaining and gain the skills on how to release that tension.
Start Your Day Guided Meditation Class by Soul Garden w/ Isagaya Flow
Join us as we meditate and flow into our day. Get ready for a soulful, mind exploring journey of meditation, music & sub-conscious imagery. Jenn Tamera will give a brief introduction about meditation and then move into some quick Isagaya Flow moves that will prepare you for your meditation practice. Isagaya Flow incorporates breath work, energy work, pressure point therapy, and yoga. So, bring your yoga mat and let go of earthly inhibitions. Enter a realm of deep relaxation as Jenn, certified Aka Dua healer, guides you through a heart expanding exercise tailored for novices and experts alike. Musician / composer Aaron Arredondo will be present to create a sonic soundscape to accompany the meditation. He will be weaving melodic tones & sub-harmonic frequencies to create a pulsating, sensory experience. Jennifer Joy Tamera was raised and still resides in The South Bay. Her past experiences include the styles of Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Iyengar and Bikram. Her skills became nothing short of eclectic when she began her training under the skillful Hatha / Iyengar Master Purusha Hickson, along side body & energy work training. Jenn’s classes tend to be a relaxing gentle flow, with focus on alignment and strength building. Being a Certified Massage & Energy Work Practitioner, she becomes effortlessly in tune with her students’ bodies and energy in order to guide her students in a class that is suited for them. Jenn is also creator of a yoga DVD entitled “Travel Yoga – Yoga for your active lifestyle” which can be purchased on amazon.
Jenn’s other passions lie in dance and the holistic healing arts. She has also founded two organizations aligned with the holistic healing arts. Breathe Bodyworks, a network for holistic healing artists, and Soul Garden Space, which combines the holistic healing arts, visual arts and music communities to inspire sustaining our souls’ passions and purpose by nurturing our seeds of love and creativity.
