Alignment 101- (Yoga’s 9th Limb)
Teaching Schedule: Saturday 8:30-10:30am
Both for the seasoned Yoga practitioner and the yoga initiate, the ability to self observe and clearly choose optimal alignment is key. But, as yoga practitioners, how do we unbind ourselves from negative movement habits? And, as Yoga teachers, how do we spot these unhelpful alignment patterns in our student’s Asana? One way is by learning & experiencing auspicious alignment “boundaries”. During this playful, movement-based-workshop, we will develop an anatomical grid which gives us an objective lens through which to observe our own movement patterns. We will also use the Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls to connect with our bony landmarks. Align yourself today!
