Bonnie’s original workshop is an ignited flow with ignited stretch based on using your strength over momentum. You will bring focus to why and how you do asana, bringing real effort to the use of muscles for a conscious flow with special attention to alignment. Of course, you will be encouraged to modify as needed being that every day is different on your mat. You will also define what it is to truly flow one breath to one movement to find rhythm with your breath alongside R&B tunes. By rehearsing what it is to retreat from the “attack” in your practice and reminding ourselves to “surrender” into the flow; time and place step aside and experience comes front and center. Be prepared to earn a self-induced sweat with a practice to remind you how strong you are – body & mind.

A native of Southern California , Bonnie found yoga at the firm recommendation of a physician at UCLA, her alma mater. He made her promise to enroll in an intro yoga class for the sake of her health, at a then small independent yoga studio named, Yoga Works. She obliged – it was love after her first downward facing dog – and so began her affair with the yoga mat over 15 years ago!
Since that first yoga class, Bonnie has evolved from yoga practitioner to yoga instructor. She has studied with a renowned list of master Yoga teachers such as Max Strom of Exhale for Sacred Movement in Venice, Ca; Chuck Miller, founder of Yoga Works in Brentwood, Ca; Dr. Larry Payne, LMU; Bryan Kest of Power Yoga in Santa Monica, Ca; Rodney Yee of Piedmont Yoga in San Francisco, Ca; and famed Ashtanga yogi, Dave Swenson.
Bonnie is a yoga instructor with the SPECTRUM Clubs and EQUINOX. She has also taught her Vinyasa Flow and Power Yoga to corporate entities such as Toyota, Google, and Paramount Pictures.
